Noir Basketweave / Ebony
Back Sling: Black Leather — This protected, semi-aniline leather features a matte black finish and luxuriously soft hand. A light protective coating minimizes the visibility of natural grain and pores for a more uniform look. Produced in Northern Italy by a tannery with seven generations of artisanry, this leather was developed exclusively to Denver Modern’s specifications.

Seat Cushion and Pillow: Noir Basketweave — A multi-colored fabric woven with rich, subdued dark brown and cream hues. Its rustic texture and subtle cotton undertones create a natural, organic aesthetic that complements the stool’s sophisticated tone.

Seat Cushion and Pillow: Oat Woven — A soft, neutral fabric woven with multi-twisted yarns in cream and tan tones. Applied with a water-resistant treatment that repels water-based liquids without the use of PFCs, it blends natural texture with everyday durability.

Frame: Walnut, White Oak, or Ebony
Crafted from premium hardwoods, each frame is selected for its strength, stability, and natural beauty. Walnut brings rich, chocolatey hues and striking grain patterns. White Oak offers light, warm tones and a tight, consistent grain prized for longevity. Ebony is a stained White Oak with a deep black finish that reveals subtle wood grain beneath—adding depth and a sophisticated, dramatic aesthetic.

Product Care
Leather Backrest:
Regular Care: Dust frequently using a soft, dry cloth.

Spot Cleaning: Address minor spills or dirt immediately. Gently wipe with a soft cloth, slightly dampened if necessary. Use mild dish soap sparingly for tougher spots (test in a hidden area first). Dry the area promptly.

Light Scratches: Gently rub the scratch with a soft, dry cloth. If the scratch persists, you may carefully apply low heat from a hairdryer (keep it moving and at a distance) while rubbing gently, then buffing again. Use heat very cautiously.

Patina: Leather will naturally develop a unique patina, enhancing its character. This patina is normal.

Things to Avoid: Avoid harsh chemical cleaners, abrasive sponges/materials, or generic leather cleaners unsuitable for high-quality Italian or aniline leather.

Basketweave/Woven Upholstery (Seat Cushion & Pillow):
Pillow Cover: The removable cover can be machine-washed. Always refer to the sewn-in care label for specific washing and drying instructions.

Seat Cushion: This area is spot clean only. Treat spills immediately with an appropriate water-based upholstery cleaner. Always follow the cleaner's directions and test on an inconspicuous area first.

Wood Frame (White Oak, Walnut, Ebony):

General: Gently dust with a dry microfiber cloth.

Spot Clean: Wipe spills immediately with a slightly damp cloth and mild, soapy water, then dry.

Avoid: Direct sunlight, excessive heat or humidity, harsh/abrasive cleaners.
