Product Details

The Summit Dining Table pairs a rich, grain-forward tabletop with a sculptural base that carries the visual weight without competing with the room. The circular leg design reads like sculpture in its own right, while the top's soft, rounded edges create an organic silhouette suited to a wide range of seating styles and dining decor.

Each top is built from a two-ply solid wood veneer — a construction choice made as much for sustainability as for craftsmanship. Only a thin layer of real hardwood is needed to capture the same rich grain character found in natural wood planks, conserving precious hardwood resources with every table we build. The core beneath is crafted from reclaimed material left over from the milling process, material that would otherwise go to waste.

That engineered core also gives the top a stability solid wood can't match on its own, resisting the cupping, warping, and cracking that comes with seasonal humidity swings. The visible surface is then expertly finished for resistance to everyday stains and wear, so it holds up beautifully even after decades of dining.

Materials

The Summit Dining Table pairs a rich, grain-forward tabletop with a sculptural base that carries the visual weight without competing with the room.

White Oak
• The lighter, more luminous finish. Pale, straight-grained white oak lets the room's other material moments — chairs, credenza, art — lead.
• Ideal for Scandinavian-inspired, coastal, or modern dining rooms that want a light, soft dimension.

Walnut
• The warmer, more grounded finish. Deep chocolate and amber undertones give the table substantial visual weight, suited to layered, Fall-forward dining rooms.

Espresso Oak
• New for Fall: a rich espresso-brown stain over hand-wire-brushed white oak, with deep, dark brown graining that opens the wood's natural texture.
• The darkest tone in the Denver Modern line — depth without going to a full black stain or ebonized finish.
• The hand-done wirebrushing adds organic texture, giving the darker shade significant dimension.

Top Construction
• Each top is built from a two-ply solid wood veneer — a thick-cut or sawn veneer, typically 1/16" to 1/8" thick, versus the 1/40" of a standard rotary-cut veneer.
• The surface layer is substantial enough to behave like solid wood to the touch, to sand and refinish multiple times, and to show the grain depth and figure of a full slab.
• The core beneath is crafted from reclaimed material left over from the milling process — material that would otherwise go to waste.
• That engineered core gives the top a stability solid wood can't match on its own, resisting the cupping, warping, and cracking that comes with seasonal humidity swings.
• Only a thin layer of real hardwood is needed to capture the grain character of natural wood planks, so the construction conserves hardwood resources with every table built — a fraction of the old-growth hardwood a solid slab would require.
• The same construction used in gallery-grade case goods and high-end architectural millwork.
• Handcrafted with solid American white oak or walnut edges, sealed with a durable protective finish that resists everyday stains and wear.

Base and Silhouette
• A circular leg design that reads like sculpture in its own right, carrying the visual weight without competing with the room.
• The top's soft, rounded edges create an organic silhouette suited to a wide range of seating styles and dining decor.

Sized for 6–8 diners, working in apartments and open-plan dining rooms alike. Sits comfortably with Canyon or Alma dining chairs, and coordinates with the Reverie, Solstice, or Luna Credenza as the room's storage companion.

Care & Assembly

Product Care
White Oak, Walnut, and Espresso Oak
• Dust regularly with a dry microfiber cloth, following the direction of the wood grain.
• Wipe spills with a damp cloth and follow up with a soft, dry cloth, again working with the grain.
• The visible surface is expertly finished for resistance to everyday stains and wear, so it holds up beautifully even after decades of dining.
• Use trivets under hot dishes and coasters under wet glasses. A sealed finish handles incidental contact, but standing heat and moisture shorten its life.
• Avoid harsh chemicals, ammonia-based cleaners, silicone sprays, and abrasive materials.
• Keep the table out of direct sunlight to prevent fading. Espresso Oak shows UV change more readily than natural White Oak.

Wire-Brushed Espresso Oak
• The brushing is a texture, not open grain. It's sealed with the espresso finish, wipes clean, and needs no more maintenance than a smooth-finished table.
• A dry soft-bristle brush lifts anything that settles into the deeper grain.

Refinishing
• The two-ply thick-cut veneer is substantial enough to sand and refinish multiple times over the life of the table.
• The piece is designed to be refinished rather than replaced — repairable by intent, not just durable.

Base and Placement
• Wipe the circular legs with a dry or barely damp cloth, drying promptly.
• Avoid placing the table over an active heat vent or against a radiator, which dries the wood unevenly.
• Use felt pads under the legs on hard flooring.

Moving
• Lift rather than drag, and never move the table by the top alone.
• At the 96" size the table is a two-person lift; support from the legs or apron.
