Returns
We hope you are thrilled with your purchase! If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please get in touch with [email protected] to return or exchange your item(s) within 30 days of the delivery date.
We do not refund original shipping charges. The cost of your return shipping will be deducted from your return. All returns and exchanges must be postmarked within 30 days of the initial delivery date.
All items must be sent back in their original packaging. If the original packaging is unavailable, the customer is responsible for arranging equivalent packaging. Items must be in new condition, meaning they are unused/unwashed and show no signs of wear.
Once your item is received by Denver Modern, your item(s) will be inspected. After inspection, any exchanges, credits, or refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Any taxes charged will be refunded per applicable laws. Delivery fees are non-refundable except for manufacturer defects or transit damage. Denver Modern reserves the right to refuse returns or exchanges of items not in as-new condition due to damage or misuse by the client. Custom-made products, Artwork, and customization of any product from the original cannot be refunded once the order is placed.
Non-Returnable Items for Promotional Sales
Items purchased with discounts above 25% during promotional sales are considered FINAL SALE and cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded. This includes merchandise purchased with any limited-time discount that exceeds 25% off the original price. Please review your order carefully before completing the purchase, as items marked as FINAL SALE are non-returnable and non-refundable. Cancellations
Orders not shipped from the Denver Modern warehouse can be canceled anytime. Orders in transit to the customer may not be canceled and are considered a return. Custom-made products, such as Artwork and customization of any product from the original, cannot be refunded once the order is placed.
Exchanges
If you wish to make a one-time exchange for another item(s) of equal or greater value on DenverModern.com, the customer is responsible for the shipping charge for the new product, and we cannot refund the original shipping charge. Please get in touch with us in advance at [email protected]. Custom-made products cannot be exchanged once the order is placed.
Special Orders
Special orders and customized products cannot be canceled, changed, returned, or refunded. Due to the nature of these personalized items, please carefully review our return policy regarding these purchases:
1. No Cancellations or Changes: Once an order for a customized or special order product has been confirmed and the manufacturing or customization process has commenced, it cannot be canceled or changed. We encourage you to review your order details carefully before submission.
2. No Returns or Refunds: Special orders and customized products are made to suit individual specifications; therefore, they are not eligible for returns, exchanges, or refunds. This policy is in place because such products cannot be restocked or resold.
Preparing Your Return
Denver Modern reserves the right to refuse returns or exchanges of items that are not in as-new condition due to misuse by the client. All items must be shipped back securely within their original protective outer packaging/parcel and internal protective material, or they must be repackaged with adequate protective material and an outer box/parcel without exception. Damaged and unpackaged returns will not be accepted.
Damaged or Defective Items
It is the customers responsibility to thoroughly inspect items at the time of delivery. When items are delivered via appointment - either Standard Threshold Shipping, or In-Home Delivery (White Glove) - you will be asked to sign a Proof of Delivery document accepting the items in good condition.
If any items are missing or damaged, contact Denver Modern immediately at [email protected] and take pictures for reference. You must denote all issues on the Proof of Delivery during the delivery, as outlined below. If the Proof of Delivery is signed and issues are not notated, Denver Modern is not responsible for any damages found after delivery is completed.
- If an item is broken, reject the shipment during the appointment. You will mark the necessary item(s) on the Proof of Delivery with “undeliverable due to damage”. The carrier is then required to remove the item(s).
- If an item is missing, you will mark the necessary item(s) on the Proof of Delivery with “missing from delivery.”
If you receive an item that has a defect, please notify us within 48 hours so we may address the issue.
Lost Parcels
If the package is not received or lost but shows delivered to the shipping address associated with the order, Denver Modern will not be liable for non-receipt of goods or replacement of goods. Denver Modern will assist in filing a trace and claim with the respective carrier to help the client locate lost parcels.
Unclaimed or refused parcels will be subject to applicable return and restocking fees and will not be considered canceled.
Oversized Items
Please ensure you have measured properly before placing any orders. Please reference the product page to ensure your piece will fit in your space and any doorways, hallways, and/or elevators it will have to pass through.

Orders refused at delivery due to sizing issues are considered a return. If the delivery team cannot fit your order into your home, your order will be considered a return.
