• A brand-new finish for Denver Modern: white oak stained in a dark espresso made especially for us, then finished with a careful, hand-done wirebrushing pattern.
• The wirebrushing gives immense texture and catches raking light, adding dimension to the darker shade.
• The darkest solid tone in the assortment — depth without going to a full black stain or ebonized finish.

White Oak
• The lighter, more luminous option. Pale, straight-grained white oak lets the travertine's veining lead.
• Ideal for Scandinavian-inspired, coastal, or modern interiors that want the stone moment without the darker body.

Product Care
Travertine Top
• Dust regularly with a dry, soft cloth.
• The travertine is sealed for daily use — wipe clean with a damp cloth and dry promptly.
• Blot spills right away rather than letting them stand, particularly wine, coffee, citrus, and oils.
• Avoid acidic and abrasive cleaners, including vinegar, citrus-based sprays, and scouring pads, which can etch or dull the seal.
• Use coasters or trivets under wet glasses and hot dishes. The seal handles incidental contact, but repeated direct exposure shortens its life.
• Natural veining, pitting, and tonal variation are characteristic of the stone, not defects.

Espresso Oak and White Oak
• Dust regularly with a dry microfiber cloth.
• For stubborn spots, lightly dampen the cloth, wipe clean, then dry promptly.
• On Espresso Oak, the hand-done wirebrushing is a surface texture rather than open grain — it wipes clean and needs no more maintenance than a smooth finish. A soft brush lifts dust from the deeper grain if needed.
• Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive materials, and excessive moisture to preserve the finish.
• Keep out of prolonged direct sunlight; both finishes shift in tone with sustained UV exposure, and the espresso stain shows fading more readily than pale oak.

Interior and Hardware
• Wipe interior shelving with a dry or barely damp cloth.
• Soft-close hardware requires no lubrication. If a door stops closing cleanly, the mechanism is adjustable.
• Distribute weight evenly across adjustable shelves rather than loading one span.

Placement and Moving
• Avoid placing the piece over an active heat vent or against a radiator, which can dry the wood unevenly.
• At 233 lbs, the Solstice is a two-person lift at minimum — the travertine top carries most of that weight. Never drag it loaded.
• Lift from the base rather than the stone top.
